CORN: Corn is at the top of the list of the worlds "Most toxigenic grains" yet Americans consume corn at an alarming rate. Corn has even been responsible for deaths from mold/mycotoxin contaminated crops. If that doesn't send shivers up and down your spine I'm not sure what does. Here are just a few chilling scientific studies of mycotoxin contamination of corn and corn crops: OATS: RICE: RYE: WHEAT: Researchers and food safety experts test beer regularly to make sure that levels of mycotoxins are at a standard level, however there are two problems with this standard. First, they are admitting there are mycotoxins in beer but keeping in mind that a normal healthy person (with no other environmental toxic mold exposures) would do just fine in drinking a glass or two every now and then. This means that consumers need to be more educated on their drink choices as it pertains to their own health and wellness.
